A Unique Wedding Gift

I created this painting using oil paint to capture the deep colours and textures of this winter themed bouquet. For this commission I worked from a selection of photographs of the flowers as the wedding took place up in Scotland. It has now gone off to the framers, I hope they love it...

    This is the place for a beautiful wedding. The ceremony at Chicago wedding venues was held in the dining hall, which commands a breath-taking view of the city. I only wish I appreciated it more when I was there. Oh well. You live and learn.
